The Governor of the Bank of Spain leaves the entity in advance

The Governor of the Bank of Spain, Miguel Ángel Fernández Ordóñez, will leave his post on 10 June, a month before the end of his mandate.

It is therefore transferred as the entity through a release reported to the President of the Government of Mariano Rajoy.

Fernandez Ordonez took this decision for whom "can join" happens on the same day, that the banks must submit their plans to the hygiene of real estate assets.

"The Prime Minister has understood that this decision fast one and favors efficient transition into the position of the Governor and continue to help of the Bank of Spain to deliver their knowledge and their professionalism in the solution of the problems of our economy and the banking system", explains in the statement.
