Americans Predict Maj0rTerrorist Attack on U.S. In Next Decade

A new Harris Poll measuring how many people expect that various events will happen in the next decade, in the next 50 years , in the rest 0f the 21^st century, was published f0rreview on January 6, 2011.

Poll results found that 54% 0f Americans believe that a maj0rterrorist attack on the U.S. will occur in the next 10 years.  Over 70% believe that a maj0rU.S. terrorist attack will occur in the next 50 years.

30% 0f Americans at 10 years, , over 60% at 50 years, see China replacing the United States as the world’s leading economic power.

Very few respondents believe that in the next 10 years that the world will see a nuclear war.
