Arizona Congresswoman Shot at Public Event – In Parking Lot

Developing: Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot along with three 0f her aides by a gunman Saturday morning outside a grocery store in Tucson while holding a public event, Fox News has confirmed.

Twelve others were shot as well at Giffords' first public event called "Your Corner." The gunman is in custody.

Giffords was taken to a hospital but the condition 0f those shot was not immediately known, a seni0rcongressional aide told Fox News.

As 0f 11:48 AM Pacific Time, Fox News is reporting that the Senat0ris alive in critical condition undergoing surgery in Arizona hospital.

Update:

Multiple people shot. Reported 4 fatalities, with others currently in surgery.
