Layering fields greatly increases your crop production

Crop production leads to facility production which equals fast advancement and your fellow farmers will get twice as much coinage when they harvest for you.

If you have several farms it's best to do one at a time. It's important to follow each step.
Please feel free to give me feedback (in the guestbook below). I want to make this clear and easy.

Step By Step How to

First you need a space without fields, so delete the used fields. Next click the offline symbol (it looks like a plug, see circle). It's green when you're online and red when you click it offline.

Now open facebook in another tab.

The two pictured tabs are both open to Farm Town.

This can also be done by opening two sessions of the internet, but has not always worked for me with Internet Explorer (I like to call it exploder). I use Flock and it's fast and will allow two tabs to both be logged in to Facebook at the same time.

In the second tab, go to the same farm where you cleared a space to layer fields.

Take that farm offline too - with the offline button.

It's time to plow - go to the first farm and plow your fields.

Note where I started plowing in the picture - near the Hyacinth.

Now it's time to plow the farm in the second tab.

Make sure your plots start in a slightly different place (so they aren't directly on top of each other which would hide the bottom one).

Notice I started a little more south of the Hyacinth this time.
**It won't look layered yet.**

After you've plowed both farms, click the second one back online & refresh your browser.

Go back to the first tab and click it back online too - Refresh and you should now see the layers.

Step back and admire your work!!

But only for a few seconds, you've got a lot of work to do now.

Happy farming!
